Spicy Koreaanse kip bulgogi

Spicy Korean Chicken Bulgogi is a delicious and popular Korean dish made with marinated chicken in a spicy sauce. Here's a recipe to make it at home:

Ingredients:
– 500g boneless chicken thighs, thinly sliced
– 4 tablespoons gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 2 tablespoons honey
– 2 tablespoons sesame oil
– 1 tablespoon minced garlic
– 1 tablespoon grated ginger
– 1 tablespoon rice wine or mirin
– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
– 1 onion, thinly sliced
– 1 carrot, julienned
– 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
– 2 green onions, chopped
– Sesame seeds, for garnish
– Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and rice wine. Mix well to make the marinade.
2. Add the sliced chicken to the marinade and mix until well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight in the refrigerator for better flavor.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the sliced onion, carrot, and green bell pepper. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.
5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet with the vegetables and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes to combine the flavors.
6. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
7. Serve the spicy Korean chicken bulgogi over cooked rice and enjoy!

Note: Adjust the amount of gochujang according to your spice preference. You can also add other vegetables like mushrooms or zucchini to the stir-fry if desired.
